Spark e-Fuels is driving the transition to net-zero aviation by developing scalable and affordable e-fuel technologies. To strengthen our project and technology development, we are looking for a motivated project engineer to advance industrial partnerships, expand techno-economic and environmental assessment models, and support funding acquisition. How you contribute to success
Identify and engage industrial partners along the e-fuels value chain
Represent Spark at conferences, workshops, and partner meetings (online and in-person)
Develop and expand techno-economic and environmental impact assessment models
Derive KPIs and support documentation for technical development
Scout and prepare proposals for European, national, and regional funding programs
Lead smaller grant proposals and contribute to larger consortium applications
Your profile
You hold a degree in technology management, industrial engineering, chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related field
You bring >3 years work experience in project or business development within the fuels, chemicals, or process industries (knowledge of e-fuels is a plus)
You have expertise in techno-economic and/or environmental impact assessments (experience with interactive dashboards is a plus)
You are familiar with German regional, national and/or European grant funding schemes and have experience in grant writing
You are customer-focused, highly organized, and an excellent communicator with strong presentation skills
