What you’ll do: Financial Modelling & Forecasting- Design, build, and maintain investor-grade financial models (P&L, cash-flow, scenario analyses, and sensitivity scenarios) tailored for fundraising, due diligence, and board reviews.- Integrate technical process parameters and operational data into dynamic forecasts that guide capital allocation and growth strategies. Investor & Board Readiness- Craft finance narratives and dashboards that resonate with VCs, grant agencies, and strategic investors.- Partner with the CEO to prepare investor‑ready financials, cap tables, runway analyses, and milestone budgets. Business Intelligence & Reporting- Build self‑service dashboards (Sheets/Looker/Power BI) that surface real‑time performance against operational KPIs.- Establish cadence for monthly close, variance analysis, and rolling forecasts. What we’re looking for (Must‑haves) Technical Background- Degree in Finance, Economics, MBA. Experience- 2+ years building and owning financial models in a high-growth tech, biotech, or life-sciences context (FP&A, strategy consulting, or VC portfolio ops). Modelling Experience- Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets (arrays, nested logic; VBA/App Script a plus). Experience with Python/R for ad-hoc analysis is advantageous. Communication- Able to distil technical and financial concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences. English proficiency, spanish a plus. Nice‑to‑haves- Proficiency with BI and analytics tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)- Strong scripting skills for financial and data analysis (Python, R, VBA, Google Apps Script)- Understanding of biotech landscape is a plus.
